CHRONICLE

sloan edgefest less vibrant

From government mandated big shiny videos on the nation’s music station to the CDs you scratched while trying to pry them from your busted Discman, the Canadian music of the 1990s lives on in used bins and dusty basements, despite a lack of documentation (not counting out of print issues of Chart and books on Alanis and Bryan). We love this stuff, and if you’re here, so do you.

Based in Winnipeg, Canada and founded in 2016,  Jaded and Elated is an online zine that catches up with artists to discuss their CanRock classics and find out what is keeping them busy today. We’re also asking a new generation to comment, cover and celebrate the sounds we can’t forget.

Listen to Jaded and Elated Radio every Tuesday at 10pm CT on 101.5 UMFM in Winnipeg.
